By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Plain English where possible; the protective language is here because lawyers are sometimes right.

Handmade means handmade

Every item is made by hand, most to order. Leather color and grain, dye take-up, stamp placement, edge finish, and exact dimensions are approximate and will vary from piece to piece. These natural variations are inherent to a handmade product and are not defects. Product photos and the on-screen customizer preview are representative, not exact.

Orders, made-to-order timelines & payment

Made-to-order items (including custom Wave Cardholder builds) are typically ready in about two weeks; we'll tell you if your build will take longer. All payments are processed by Square, Inc. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax is collected at checkout. We may cancel and refund any order we can't fulfill.

Returns, repairs & warranty

  • Ready-made items: returnable within 14 days of delivery, unused and in original condition. Return shipping is on the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or wrong.
  • Custom and made-to-order items: final sale. They're cut and sewn for you, to your spec.
  • Lifetime stitching repair: if a seam or stitch on anything we made ever fails under normal use, send it back and we'll repair it free. This covers our workmanship; it doesn't cover loss, theft, soaking, burning, pets, or modifications by others.

Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

Except for the express repair promise above, this site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gungnir Leatherworks LLC's total liability for any claim arising from this site or a product is limited to the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Your content & conduct; indemnification

You agree not to misuse this site and to indemnify Gungnir Leatherworks LLC against claims arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of our products.

Intellectual property

The Gungnir Leatherworks name, knotwork mark, product designs, photos, and site content are our property. Don't reproduce them without written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts of Tennessee.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes apply to orders placed after the change.
