Gungnir Leatherworks

Still on the bench.

The shop isn't open yet — we're burnishing the edges. If you've got the password, come on in.

02About Us

The hands behind every stitch.

One maker. One hide at a time.

Gungnir started at a workbench in Tennessee, owned by a veteran and run on a simple idea: make a thing properly and you only make it once. Every wallet, pouch, and bag here is cut and sewn by hand — no production line, no shortcuts.

We buy the good leather, mostly from the old tanneries of Europe and the world's best makers, because the hide does most of the work. The rest is patience: hours of saddle-stitching, edges burnished by hand until they shine.

The name comes from Gungnir, Odin's spear — the one that never misses. We hold our work to the same standard.

"If it's worth carrying every day, it's worth making to last." — the maker

We set up at Tennessee markets and fairs through the season — same goods, same maker, and you can put your hands on the leather first. Follow along or write to us for this month's schedule.

Want something that isn't in the shop — a different size, a piece built around your carry, a gift with a story? Tell us what you're after and we'll talk it through before any money changes hands.
